What type of payroll schedule should I use for my business?

I’m fairly new to payroll process management, but I know every business, no matter the size, should run its payroll in a professional manner. I have just submitted all the required documents for payroll and my employment. The only thing that I’m currently struggling with is the payroll schedule. I don’t know which payment schedule to use for my business.

Some states have requirements for minimum payment frequencies, so monthly payments may not be possible. You should also consider whether more frequent payments, like weekly vs. semimonthly, would increase your payroll processing costs. If neither is a factor, you might consider your employees' preferences and how often you prefer to process payroll.
