I’m considering integrating a human resources information system (HRIS) into the business for my HR department, but I’m not sure how it would fit with the current payroll system or assist with payroll functions. My team is managing without one, but I don't want to miss the opportunity to streamline some processes and save time and resources.

However, some HRIS programs offer all-in-one packages, which include payroll, so you may end up paying for more than you need.
